The-Chief-Peaks

If you follow me on Snapchat you will know that recently I ventured out to Squamish to hike the chief peaks and boy was it tough! After doing the Grouse Grind for my first hike in Vancouver (2,830 stairs) I swore I would never hike again but somehow I had convinced myself to attempt the almighty mountains once more and gosh it was worth it for the view at the top.

The Chief Peaks are located in Squamish about 45 minutes north of Vancouver. There are three peaks that you can hike, I completed the first peak and it only took about 2 hours each way. The hike was challenging and really pushed my personal boundaries however all of the pain I felt in my legs was worth the extraordinary, breath taking view at the top. I never wanted to come down.

For anyone looking for a good challenge and something to do before the summer ends, I would highly reccomend hiking The Chief, you won’t regret it and you certainly reap the rewards at the top.
