If you have been following my journey on this blog and Instagram you will have noticed that I took a leave of absence on all social media platforms for the past few months. We often see our favourite influencers announcing they are taking a mental health break from social media or putting down the phones on their weekend getaway but its rare that anyone really tells you why. I’m here to open up and do just that.
Being a working woman in this day and age can sometimes get the best of us! Juggling emails, businesses lunches and updating our Instagram stories on the daily (How we manage to fit it all in I will never know!!) I don’t know about you but I am constantly racing against the clock so anything I can do to save time, you can count me in! The last thing you want to think about is your outfit when you have office drinks or dinner with the girls planned so I put together a few tips to get you from desk to dinner on time!
Over the past few weeks, since I made the move to Melbourne I have been trying to Marie Kondo my life and yes that means attacking the beloved wardrobe. You know when you go through those phases where you just aren’t sure what to keep and what to send to the toss pile. Well that was me! I was seriously having a fashion crisis and it got me thinking what is even the difference between fashion and style? Why do some people have a very specific aesthetic that they wear day to day and others just go with whatever the heck they feel when they wake up!
Last Friday evening I was fortunate to go on a Sunset Safari at the Werribee Open Range Zoo here in Melbourne. I will be the first to admit I had been waiting for this night in anticipation for months ever since my dad bought me tickets for Christmas (bless his heart, he knows me well!) I can honestly say I was blown away at this experience.
What a crazy whirlwind 2018 has turned out to be! I never expected the year that I just had and gosh am I grateful. It’s amazing what can happen when you open your mind and allow new experience to come in, so I decided I wanted to share the top 5 things I took away from this year
If you are a lover of the finer things in life like me you will be blown away by the new ‘Waratah’ collection created by S-kin Studio. The collection features beautifully crafted pieces with intricate detailing and you will want all of these pieces, I promise you!
